Michael Joseph

Tutor Algebra 2, Math Analysis, Precalculus, Calculus, AP Claculus AB, Statistics, AP Statistics, College Algebra, College Claculus, College Statistics

Although elementary and middle school came somewhat okay to Michael, it was really during high school or, more particularly the later years, that really challenged him mathematically. It was challenging to the point to where he was in danger of failing his senior math class and being unable to graduate with his peers. If he ever made it out of this, he promised himself to never fail another math class again.

Michael has been then able to keep this promise (well, mostly). His first semester of college saw him with an A grade in his algebra class. The teacher was so enamored that she recommended him to be a tutor and the rest, as they say, is history. Michael is now an IT undergraduate of the University of South Florida as of August 2019.

With his experience as a tutor over the years Michael has learned that having patience to work through a student’s mistakes and giving time to understand core concepts were keys to success. He tutors both secondary school and college level algebra, pre-calculus, calculus I and elementary statistics. For his down time you can catch him diving deep into Spotify for those 80’s tunes or see him drawing cartoons.
