Alex attended Robinson High School, earning her diploma from its I.B. Program, and received
recognition as a National Merit Scholar Finalist and National Hispanic Scholar. Fueled by her
passion for classics and languages, she graduated from UF with a major in Classical Studies and
minors in linguistics and anthropology. She has studied Latin for nine years, completed advanced
course work in Spanish, and has studied Italian and Russian. Alex plans to pursue a post-graduate
degree in Classical Studies with the goal of becoming a professor and passing on her passion for
learning to future students. Her experience in working with students with personal challenges
makes her especially sensitive to the importance of positive coaching and encouragement to
motivate students.

Alex is excited to be joining the Disciplined Minds tutoring team so she can share her love of
learning to inspire others to achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential.
